Science Technology Engineering and Math

Objective: through sports and fun games, students will become more interested in STEM and will learn a STEM concept.

 

STEM incorporation: We incorporate STEM into our fun games. Examples of what students will learn include "Solar System Capture the Planets, Fruit , Science of Swish”."  The games are aligned with topics from the Next Generation Science Standards.

In after schools & P.E., students will also complete a worksheet. Students will take the worksheet home with them and finish the worksheet with their parents or siblings. The games & instructions on how to complete the worksheets are grade specific.

Through the use of the CF Fitness STEM Aligned Structured Program, we have been able to demonstrate that students who participate in our program show an 88% increased interest in STEM at the end of the program.
